A site dedicated to George Aubrey Lyward 1894-1973 - a charismatic educationalist who founded the Finchden Manor community in Kent. It includes contemporary material such as Michael Burn's 1956 book Mr Lyward's Answer, David Dunhill's 1971 Radio 4 documentary, and John Prickett's detailed account of GL's life and work in his memorial address at St Martin In The Fields in 1973.
